To the citizens of Kenya, hardly is a person appointed to sit in a board and decline the offer, citing genuine reasons like lack of time and fears of not giving the best to the institution due to an already busy schedule.

This was why many were shocked when a prominent lady was appointed to sit in a hospital board and graciously declined the invitation and wished the board well.

This woman is Zahra Bahlewa Moi, wife to Baringo Senator Gideon Moi, who is also a son to the second President of the Republic of Kenya Daniel Toroitch Arap Moi.

Exemplifying great work ethics, Zahra said no to sitting in the board of the Kenya Hospital Association (KHA), who own Nairobi Hospital, one of the most prestigious hospitals in Kenya because of her already busy schedule.

“It is with regret, however, that I must decline your invitation. Due to time constraints, my schedule simply will not allow me to participate meaningfully on your board at this time.”

“I have immense respect for the work you do, and fear that the demands on my time will prevent me from giving the Kenya Hospital Association (KHA) the attention it deserves.”

Zahra, however, is a member of the Board of Tourism Research Institute. She is also CEO of the Lord Erroll Gourmet Restaurant in Runda, Nairobi. The fine dining restaurant was the Global Award Winner as Restaurant of the Year 2017.

Zahra is a mother of three Kimoi, Kigen and Lulu, and was a student of International Business Administration at the United States International University (USIU).

Zahra advertised the body lotion, Lady Gay.
