Kenya Power Board
Beatrice Gathirwa, a Certified Public Accountant on the Kenya Power Board

We all think about Kenya Power when the electricity goes off. When watching that final football match, favourite soap opera or a series on Netflix.

Well, it is time to meet the female power in Kenya Power. We have a politician, teacher, an advocate and accountant.

These are the women who think about that power you use for cooking, lighting your living room, charging your phone among other activities 24hours and seven days a week!

It is important to note that unlike many company boards, Kenya Power has fulfilled the constitutional requirement of the two-third gender rule with four women out of the 12 people on the board.
