A husband to a Cabinet Secretary in Kenya has revealed that he deeply misses her presence at home.
The saying, ‘Absence makes the heart grow fonder’ has become true for these two lovebirds with high flying jobs in the country.
Speaking on a TV Show, Prof. Peter Kagwanja fondly expressed how the family was missing the presence of Foreign Affairs CS Monica Juma.
“Kenya lobbying for the UN Security Council seat is a great thing, and it is the first time Kenya is showing her capacity to lobby globally.”
“I cannot, however, say the same for my family because we miss the presence of a mother at home,” said Prof Kagwanja, as he fondly referred to his wife, CS Monica.
Monica has been on a charm offensive in different countries seeking the UN Security Council seat for Kenya.
She has been reaching out to the Asian Pacific Region. “Today’s international dynamics and future trends make the ASEAN region a critical international player. My visit offers a unique opportunity to engage with a region that offers Kenya and Africa many lessons. It is a region we share deep historical ties,” said CS Monica.
Djibouti is the major threat for Kenya despite Kenya being the AU nominated State.
Prof Kagwanja is the Founding President and CEO of Africa Policy Institute (API) and an expert in security, governance and strategic issues.
