DISCIPLINE MOMENT: Nominated Senator Millicent Omanga appears at Jubilee House.

Physical activity is good therapy for a stressed mind or to just let go and refresh one’s body. In all likelihood, this would be the reason Nominated Senator Millicent Omanga resulted in a visit to the shamba after a heated time answering questions fielded by members of the Jubilee Disciplinary committee.

The Senator posted pictures tending to her spinach and watering them, including posing with some banana plants on twitter. Kenyans were quick to react asking if that was really her garden, and why she was in the shamba in sandals making the pictures look like a PR exercise gone terribly wrong.

She wrote: “After a long day; taking care of my veges. #MamaMiradi”

The replies included:

@Nivaasenath “you struggling to prove a point here…who even goes to the shamba with sandals? Be real get serious bana!”

@RoyKoskey “Sasa mboga moj ana ndizi mbili…anyway

@ArehoneMudziel1 “We know you were not taking care of it, you were just taking pictures.”
