"STOP KILLING US"

A series of brutal murders in Kenya in recent months, documented by the police and human rights groups.

A mother and her daughter and niece were tortured and killed, their mutilated bodies were found disposed of in a different location, Olympic runner died after she was severely burned in a gasoline attack. A university student was murdered and her body was dumped in a field.

Police say 97 women were murdered from August to October this year. In July, sacks containing human body parts of women were discovered murdered, and dumped in a Garbage dam.

On Tuesday, thousands of men and women took to the streets of Nairobi, demanding the government take quick action. The demonstrators were chanting “Stop killing us”, and “Women have rights too”.

The women of Kenya desire to get justice for those who have been killed.
