Keziah Nyambura Macharia, a 41-year-old woman from Nyandarua, has tragically passed away after battling an unusual stomach swelling. Her death was announced by Eric Omondi on social media, who shared the heartbreaking news.
Eric revealed that Keziah underwent a successful surgery on Tuesday, but sadly, she did not survive. He expressed his sorrow, saying, “My heart is heavy. We did all we could. Kenyans sent money, and our sister Keziah Nyambura even had a successful surgery on Tuesday. We have lost her. The system failed her! How many more must we lose? Thank you, Team Sisi Kwa Sisi, for doing your part.”
Keziah, a mother of three from Kipipiri, Nyandarua County, had been struggling with a growing stomach mass since 2020, initially thinking it was a pregnancy. After several hospital visits, including ultrasounds and a CT scan at Nakuru PGH, it was determined that the swelling was due to a uterine condition that required surgery.

The swelling made it difficult for her to walk and care for her children, leading them to stay with their grandmother. Despite the efforts to help her, Keziah tragically passed away.
Our condolences go out to her family, and may her soul rest in peace.
