The gospel music community in Rwanda and across East Africa is mourning the sudden death of gospel singer Musabyimana Gloriose, popularly known as Gogo.

The 36-year-old singer, famous for her hit song “Everyday, I Need Blood of Jesus,” passed away on the night of September 3, 2025, in Uganda after battling an illness.

According to a medical report from Kyegera Doctors Center, she was confirmed dead shortly after midnight. Gogo had travelled to Uganda on August 28 for a gospel crusade.

Her manager, Bruno K, broke the sad news on social media, describing her as a talented artist whose music and ministry touched many lives. Her close friend, Bikem Uwayesu, who was with her during the trip, said she was a passionate servant of God who inspired many through her songs and worship.

Although the cause of her death has not yet been made public, fans have flooded social media with emotional tributes, sharing her songs and remembering how her music gave them hope during hard times.
