Joyce Wanjiru, DJ Krowbar’s wife, passed on January 26, 2026 in the morning following a long battle with kidney disease.
She had underwent a kidney transplant in the year 2025.
She is survived by the husband, Fredrick Karumba, and their three children, Toriah (Overcome), Riri (Glory) and Imani (Faith).
Family and friends said Joyce exemplified great resilience and faith through the period of her illness.
Joyce was a fashion designer, and also was of great value to the Gospel entertainment industry together with the husband.
The family was greatly supported emotionally and financially to nurse Joyce back to health.
The Women in Leadership Team wishes peace and comfort to all the affected, most especially the immediate family.
