Carl Thomas Dean, Dolly Parton’s beloved husband of nearly 60 years, passed away at 82. Their love story began in 1964 outside a Nashville laundromat and was a true testament to devotion and privacy. In a statement posted to Dolly’s Instagram, the country singer shared that her husband Carl died on Monday in Nashville, Tennessee.
“Carl and I spent many wonderful years together. Words can’t do justice to the love we shared for over 60 years. Thank you for your prayers and sympathy,” Dolly shared.
