Beraka Wambui, a 19-year-old, died after falling from the fifth floor of a residential apartment in Nairobi Kayole area, prompting police to launch investigations into the circumstances surrounding her death.

According to police, they responded to the scene on July 11 after a resident reported hearing a loud bang at approximately 5:40 p.m.
The witnesses initially thought it was an electrical incident, but later discovered Wambui lying on the ground in a pool of blood.
Preliminary investigations indicate that Wambui had reportedly argued with her 22-year-old boyfriend shortly before the incident.
Crime scene investigation officers documented the scene and recovered blood-stained household items from the apartmentfor forensic analysis.

In a separate account, Wambui family says she was five months pregnant and had been living with her husband, Anthony Njoroge, at Obama Estate.
Antony Njoroge has been arrested as detectives investigate the circumstances surrounding Wambui’s death.

Her mother says her daughter and her partner frequently argued throughout their relationship. She believes those repeated domestic disputes created a volatile environment and rejects the suggestion that her daughter died by suicide.
Instead, she alleges that someone pushed her daughter from the building, leading to her death.
