Wangui Ngirici, Kirinyaga Women Rep
Kirinyaga MP Purity Ngirici ousted from KEWOPA top leadership by Kiambu MP Gathoni Wamuchomba.

Women from Kirinyaga are strong-willed. They speak briefly but strongly.

In the politics of today in Kenya, three women from Kirinyaga dominate our news page.

Let us explore where they were during the launch of the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) Report.

  1. Martha Karua, the Narc Kenya Party Leader

She was busy in her office but kept checking on her twitter as she always does. @MarthaKarua timeline is vibrant than any other politician in the country. She types away herself and types straight just as she speaks. Honestly and boldly.

2. Anne Waiguru, Governor Kirinyaga

She was among the speakers during the BBI launch. She spoke on alternative gender in the leadership of the country. Gov. Waiguru is deputised by a man, Peter Ndambiri, and called for the adoption of the same principle in the legislature too. If the speaker is a man, let the deputy speaker be a woman…

3. Wangui Ngirici, Kirinyaga Women Representative

She was photographed walking into the Bomas of Kenya. She was, therefore, sitting with other Kenyans and leaders as the speeches went on. MP Ngirici, who is known mashinani to have a passion for development, is part of the Inua Mama group of Leaders who empower women, youth and the disabled across the country.
