It is June 13, 2019, and a picture surfaces of Cabinet Secretary Henry Rotich during a press briefing with part of the Treasury staff minutes after reading 2019/2020 Budget amounting to KSh3.02 trillion. Within seconds of the picture hitting the inter-webs, women in Kenya were up in arms over the lack of even one woman in the top echelons of the treasury, where huge decisions regarding trillions are made.
